Maxwelltown West is an attractive Victorian Free Church design with a central pulpit and a gallery on three sides. Music is provided by a new custom-built digital organ, occasionally supplemented.
There are two well-equipped halls, one of them with a badminton court, as well as a smaller hall, a committee room, and recently refurbished kitchen and toilets. Disabled access is available from Rosemount Street and there is a separate disabled toilet. On-street parking is available on Rosemount Street and Hill Street.
Hall Lets
Maxwelltown West Church has two halls available for letting: one large Main Hall and the smaller Centenary Hall both adjacent to the fully-equipped, spacious kitchen, with a serving hatch at each side for ease of access.
The halls can be accessed from Rosemount Street to the rear of the church where there is on-street parking. There is disabled access throughout, including a disabled toilet. The Committee Room is also available for hire.
Charges:
£20 per hour for the Main Hall
£20 per hour for the Centenary Hall
£10 per hour for the Committee Room.
